The Sales Process Analyst will be responsible for generating sales insights through analytics, KPIs, and metrics. They will do so by demonstrating resourcefulness in gathering and reporting; creating end-to-end data strategies; and identifying and integrating data linkages to drive efficiency and agility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serves as point of contact for leading the development of analytics to be used in identifying issues and risks, collecting information for enterprise decision-making, and providing value-added services to the North America sales team.

  • Serves as point of contact for the development and maintenance of benchmarking efforts.
  • Lead efforts to develop, test, and implement financial data collection and measurement tools, by combining internal and external data that effectively drives the company’s service lines strategies while identifying and creating automation opportunities to increase reporting efficiencies, leading this effort at times.
  • Develops and guides monthly reporting and senior management summaries preparation along with supporting financial and operational models
  • Prepare simple weekly dashboard reports for the North America business
  • Collaborate with sales managers/leaders often to develop new metrics/analytics ideas and improvements
  • Provides input to decision-makers where changes in operational processes may be needed and/or reporting implications
  • Take leadership role in training stakeholders on newly developed analytical tools and products
  • Reporting on key performance indicators and metrics to assess sales effectiveness and achievement of the function’s goals and objectives
  • Generating insights through analytics, delivering actionable data to key stakeholders in a variety of reporting mediums (Power BI, PPT, XLS, Google Sheets, Google Slides, GA4)
  • Analyzing external data sources to support sales strategies and programs
  • Providing business support through ad hoc analysis and guidance, including third-party information sources to account managers, regional managers, and sales leadership
  • Improving and evolving processes, metrics, and job duties to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sales growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred

  • 5-7 years of experience in data product ownership and leadership, problem identification and definition, data product development and delivery to end users
  • Knowledge of data collection techniques and interpretation
  • Familiarity with modern BI platforms and ability to quickly generate meaningful analyses using these tools
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and stakeholders, keeping each audience informed of project status and deliverable completion
  • Knowledge of descriptive statistics to analyze statistical data and prepare estimates.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Expertise in written and verbal communication required
  • ERP experience required
  • Experience building reports
  • Strong to advanced knowledge and understanding of sales and sales operations processes, system functionality, and sales operations strategy.
  • Strong passion for data & analytics and bringing structure and collaborating with a range of business and technical stakeholders to rapidly deliver real value
  • Experience working on technology- or data-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or business analyst
  • Demonstrated ability to turn analytics into insights and insights into action.
  • Great at developing new relationships, forming strong stakeholder relationships, thoughtfully communicating, driving positive change, and highly innovative and collaborative

You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer, etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • Communicate effectively with customers through multiple forms of technology, including telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information
  • Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds

Work Environment/Location/Flex Arrangement:

SVP Worldwide offers a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. As part of our Flexible Workplace Policy, this position will be (remote based) or (hybrid based in our company HQ in LaVergne, TN). This role may include domestic (and/or international) travel up to 10%.
